Happy New Year to all our readers – and what better way to start 2023 than with a collection of Hollywood stars and pin-up girls celebrating the death of the old and the birth of the new? As we’ve seen time and time again, there is no occasion that didn’t call for a publicity photo or a cheesecake shot featuring the famous, soon-to-be-famous and wannabe-famous of tinsel town.
Even depression and war didn’t stop these shots from bringing a touch of hope and glamour to an otherwise dark world – we can all learn from that, I think. In any case, here’s hoping that 2023 finally brings a bit of sanity to this decidedly odd decade and provides just a hint of the innocent joy that these images provide.
