A laser-driven reworking of a vintage classic movie.
These days, reworked movies are ten a-penny on YouTube, but back in 2000 such digital tweaking was both less common and more complex. Enter video artist Darryl Gold and High Tech Noon, which takes the western classic and brings it bang up to date. I first saw this when someone tagged it onto the end of a VHS bootleg – yes, it’s that old. At just four minutes long, it doesn’t overstay its welcome and as a movie ahead of its time is well worth checking out.
