Currently fundraising on Kickstarter, Thank You For Letting Me Be Myself is written by longtime Moore associate and enthusiast Mark Jason Murray and covers his early days, his private life and the public persona that flourished in classic movies like Dolemite, The Human Tornado and The Disco Godfather. The book was authorised by Moore as his official biography during his life and has been painstakingly put together since his 2008 death.
