David McGillivray is a filmmaker, author and supplier of jokes to Julian Clary. in the 1970s, he was the man responsible for socially uplifting films like House of Whipcord, House of Mortal Sin, Frightmare, Satan’s Slave, Terror, The Hot Girls and I’m Not Feeling Myself Tonight, while more recently he produced the scandalous short film Trouser Bar. His autobiography, Little Did You Know (FAB Press 2019) revealed a scandalous former shadow career as a purveyor of illicit substances and, all in all, tells the tale of a life well-lived.
