The UK sex festival issues an open call for socially conscious lockdown erotica.
London’s Uncensored Festival – which we had decidedly mixed feelings towards last year – has obviously fallen foul of the national shutdown this year, but in the spirit of moving things online while face-to-face (or other body part to body part) encounters are off-limits, the festival has issued an open call for erotic movies – professional or amateur – that will be screened in a password-protected event on their website. You might consider that there are more commercial outlets for your homemade porn, but there’s no suggestion that the festival needs exclusive screening access, and screening in a competition might well be a good way of promoting your work or simply engaging in lightweight exhibitionism.
There seems to be no limit on what sort of sexual expression you might engage in, beyond the expected rejection of assorted isms and phobias and the somewhat unnecessary note forbidding ‘snuff movies‘ – do the Uncensored team really think that not only are snuff movies real, but that people would somehow be lining up to shoot them for their festival? More prosaically, films need to be shot during the lockdown and no longer than 30 minutes. You need to shoot in HD and obviously, everyone involved needs to be over eighteen. No limits to the number of people you can involve, though presumably it is limited to those who currently live with you.
Clearly, there’s nothing else to do at the moment, so if you’ve ever had the urge to shoot some right-on porn and have an audience for it, now might be your chance.
Alternatively, of course, you can just send your work to us and we’ll write about it…
