Swedish doom merchants Hazemaze channel Jack the Ripper in their new video.
Seventies inspired Swedish Stoner doom merchants Hazemaze have released the new video for the track Shadow in the Night, from forthcoming album Hymns of the Damned – a Jack the Ripper themed track that mixes clips from various Ripper movies (have fun identifying them all!), crime scene images and vintage newspaper reports. It’s an interestingly moody and gruesome affair – Hazemaze thankfully don’t seem part of the Woke Metal movement – though the inclusion of the lyrics on the video was perhaps a mistake – the words are not the track’s strong points, it must be said.
Still, this is a fun and surprisingly foot-tapping number. Enjoy!
