A great British tradition – male comedians and light entertainment stars forced to pose alongside scantily-clad dolly birds.
It is – or at least was – a grand tradition in British show business. At some point, a middle-aged male celebrity would have to pose for a publicity photo or two with scantily-clad glamour girls. Sometimes, they were part of the cast of a film or TV show; sometimes fellow celebrities; sometimes hostesses on quiz shows; sometimes beauty contestants; and sometimes young women who thought that being photographed with Little and Large was a stepping stone to fame.
There are probably hundreds of these images out there, and whenever we come across new ones, we’ll add them to this gallery. For now, enjoy the cringe-worthy glory of these classic press shots of yesteryear.
